As an amateur the one luxury that I don’t have is being able to buy the best equipment to support a photography business. While I try to buy good equipment, money is always an issue, so I either have to save, or find an alternative to taking the photo I would like to take.
Through the years I have managed to upgrade some of my equipment, starting with the lenses. I believe that a good lens is better than a good camera as the camera can only process what the lens provides in terms of a photo – garbage in, garbage out.
I would like a more professional camera; however, the cost of purchasing such a camera is outside of my budget at the moment. For now, I have decided to buy more affordable equipment and will start to save up money to upgrade my camera.
Below you can see my current and past photography equipment that I own.
Current photography equipment
Here is a list of the current photography equipment that I use on a regular basis, or is always available for me to use.
Photography equipment on-the-shelf
I am not much for selling/letting go of the equipment I previously used, so the photography equipment listed below is stored in boxes in my house.
